Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions! Our July 2017 kit, 'Christmas in July', comes by way of our hostess-with-the-mostest, Kim! This kit allowed me (yay!) to get a head start on my holiday card-making, and is chock full of amazing patterned papers, and a plethora of stamped/die cut images from PTI, SSS, Avery Elle, MFT, Taylored Expressions, Neat and Tangled and much more. This Christmas themed kit has SO many fantastic ingredients, all of which can be found HERE on the 12 Kits blog!
I loved all of the aqua/red/green combos and the crisp black sentiments! Lots of beautiful die cuts too....especially the delicate 'Let It Snow' in sparkle-y silver!
Be sure to hop around to see ALL of the projects from the DT, and our fabulous guest designer, ARDYTH!

Many thanks for taking a peek! We hope that you'll enjoy all the the 12 Kits team has created (and maybe gather some inspiration and get a head start on your holiday projects)!

More Papertrey Ink Release - Mountain Majesty and Year of Psalms: July

Welcome to the final day of Papertrey Ink's July post-release celebration. We hope that you've enjoyed all of the additional PTI inspiration that the past five days have provided!
Here's a bit of additional inspiration for Mountain Majesty and Year of Psalms: July.

The lovely Mountain Majesty (and matching dies) creates an amazing multi-step mountain border image, which I have layered in cream and aqua. The soft gray birds/sentiment and the Soft Stone card base are the perfect subtle additions.

Next up is the lovely Year of Psalms: July..... a fabulous sentiment and beautiful fonts too. Loving the look of the more intense colors with Kraft (especially the dark blues) and the subtle frame created by the Mix & Mat: Postal embossed image!

Many thanks for taking a peek today! Please be sure to pop on over to Nichole's blog where you'll find more JULY inspiration and fabulous projects from Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Melissa, Lizzie, Laurie, Keeway, Stephanie AND Wanda!

More Papertrey Ink Release - Fruit Salad and On The Wagon

Good morning, and welcome back to another day of inspiration (Day #4!), featuring the July 2017 Papertrey Ink release! Today I'll be sharing projects using two new July sets - Fruit Salad and On The Wagon.

Fruit Salad is an amazing stamp set, full of fabulous fonts and phrases!  And... the Fruit Salad line also includes terrific dies - watermelon, cherry, citrus and pineapple! Love 'em all!

The lovely watermelon was calling to me with it's beautiful red/green color combo, lots of white and the perfect black accents.

Next up is On The Wagon, with beautiful designs from Betsy Veldman. This stamp set, and coordinating dies, centers around the fun multi-step vintage station wagon and some fabulous wagon accessories, for every season/occasion!

I decided to incorporate some of the wagon accessories for a fun, beachy card...... a pile of colorful surf boards, some lovely blue waves and a few palm trees waving in the background help to create this summertime scene.

Many thanks for taking a peek today! Please be sure to pop on over to Nichole's blog where you'll find more JULY inspiration and fabulous projects from Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Melissa, Lizzie, Laurie, Keeway, AND Wanda!

The Papertrey inks, in Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Berry Sorbet and Amethyst Allure, help to create this colorful, messy water colored background. Then.... an array of Stemmed Sentiments florals, a petite black scallop strip, a snippet of twine and a sentiment from Keep It Simple: OK.

A huge THANK YOU to Kelly Latevola for an abundance of inspiration and her fabulous video for Wplus9....... chock full of great water color techniques!

More Papertrey Ink Release - Quoted: The Most and Cloche Quarters: Summer Fillers

Good morning, and welcome back to another day of inspiration (Day #2!), featuring the July 2017 Papertrey Ink release! Today I'll be sharing projects using two new July sets - Quoted: The Most and Cloche Quarters: Summer Fillers.

A pretty Stormy Seas, Sweet Blush and Fresh Snow Linen combination was a good starting point for this Quoted: The Most creation. With three perfect sentiments included (to fill in the swoosh-y little banner) this versatile stamp set can be all things for all occasions/all people...... friends, family, loved ones, etc.. And the petite flowers were the additional pink accent!

Oh my.....the orchids from Cloche Quarter: Summer Fillers are just the most beautiful little creations (thank you Betsy Veldman!).  I could while away hours just thinking of new color combinations and various arrangements. Here is an ombre-ish ode to orchids -  an array of pinks and a pretty aqua embossed background for the three petite frames. Oh, and lest we forget, this Summer Fillers set also has the most fabulous little sailboat and shell images too!

Many thanks for taking a peek today! Please be sure to pop on over to Nichole's blog where you'll find more JULY inspiration and fabulous projects from Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Melissa, Lizzie, Laurie, Keeway, Stephanie AND Wanda!

Papertrey Ink Feature - Cover Up: Diamonds, Cover Up: Quatrefoil

Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of the JULY Paptertrey Ink countdown! I have the pleasure of introducing TWO brand new background stamps (designed by the lovely Dawn McVey) that I am sure you are going to love!  The Cover Up: Diamonds and Cover Up: Quatrefoil stamps measure approximately 3 5/8 x 5 1/4" and will help to create a beautiful card front, in addition to being amazingly versatile additions to your basic background stamping!
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on July 15th, 10 PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I am loving the Cover Up: Quatrefoil in this very simple white/gray combination, which plays well with the adorable bird(s), beautiful florals and all of the amazing sentiments/fonts from Give Love (designed by Heather Nichols)!

Here's the Cover Up: Quatrefoil again.... this time on Kraft with gold embossing. I've also embossed the daisy-like flowers from Give Love in white, added a few bits of greenery AND the lovely, script-y 'congratulations' die (another new one for July!).

And.... last but not least, a few tags using the fabulous new Cover Up: Diamonds, which has been embossed in white on a Smokey Shadow (Tag Sale #10). Also, sneaking in a peek at the new Stemmed Statements stamps and dies, designed by Nichole (pretty, pretty)!

Many thanks for allowing me to share with you today. Lots of loveliness from Heather, Betsy and Dawn too!
