The 12 Kits of Occasions - November 2017

Welcome to The 12 Kits of Occasions! The beautifully packaged November 2017 kit, 'Christmas', comes by way of our hostess-with-the-mostest, Jessica Davis! This holiday themed kit is chock full of amazing patterned papers and a plethora of stamped/die cut images from MFT, Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter, Neat & Tangled and much more. SO many fantastic ingredients, all of which can be found HERE on the 12 Kits blog!
I loved all of the beautiful color combos, the loveliest of sentiments and adorably cute stamped images. And some beautiful, colorful felt die cuts!
Be sure to hop around to see ALL of the projects from the DT! Knowing all of these talented women, there's sure to be Christmas/holiday inspiration galore!

So..... LOTS of white with beautifully contrasting blues, red and green, a bit of fussy cutting and if you look carefully,  you'll see that I've taken liberties with the glitter and other bits of sparkle!

Many thanks for taking a peek today!
Wishing you a very happy (and inspired!) Holiday 2017!

CAS(E) this Sketch #248

Happy Beaujolais Nouveau Day (yep....we celebrate that 'round here!). Welcome to CTS #248 and a bit of lovely inspiration courtesy of Chrissy! AND, because this is a TWO week challenge, there's plenty of time to sleep in a bit, eat turkey and mashed potatoes, have some wine, tea, coffee, more wine and then head into your craft area (in your pj's of course!) and create away!
Lots of pretty in pink on this card, using Papertrey's Bitty Big: Soft Blush, the delicate, sparkled up stems from Flower Power and my favorite Dark Indigo as the accent.
Please join in at CAS(E) this Sketch #248 and add to the always fabulous gallery. Can't wait to see what you've created!

Introducing.......... Window Works!

It's the start of a new week and time for DAY FOUR of Papertrey Ink's sneak peeks.... all leading up to the release of oodles of fantastic new stamps, dies, stencils and papers - available on November 15th at 10 pm ET!
Today I am highlighting one of Dawn McVey's newest designs, the Window Works Die Collection, which includes four uniquely shaped dies to create window cut outs with such beautiful detail! Oh, so many possibilities....

Yes, I'm still in full-on holiday mode here (and still haven't decided what the 2017 family card will look like!) with this crisp and clean red/white color combination.  The lovely Window Works square die is lovely as is, but I've backed it in a few red plaids from Bitty Big: Pure Poppy and added a beautiful snowflake die from Silver White Winters and a simple sentiment from the new Heather Nichols designed 'Snowflake Style'.

Next up is the pretty circle shaped Window Works die - taking center stage in Dark Indigo, Ripe Avocado and Prairie Grass (Yay, another new Bitty Big color!). The cute little heart from Winter Woolens, a snippet of a sentiment from the new Flower Power set and a bit of twine complete this simple design.

And lastly, a very, very simple Dark Indigo/Rustic Cream card with LOTS of gold to amp it up a bit! The pretty oval cut out is enhanced with gold embossed pinecones/foliage, glittered berries and a simple sentiment from Pen & Ink: Christmas.

Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to check out creations from Nichole, Betsy, Heather, Keeway, Laurie, Melissa, Stephanie, LEXI and Wanda for LOTS MORE inspiration. Hope that you are looking forward to all of the NEW Papertrey Ink products! Enjoy your crafty week!

Pale Peony and one of the lovely new Quatrefoil Stencils help to create the ombre background for this feminine, 5" square card. Oh, and then there's the beautiful shape and detail of Tag Sale #12, a bit of vellum, the delicate Silver White Wishes snowflake and a little sparkle-y twine..... so soft and pretty!

Next up is Quoted: Living Longer, a beautiful script and a pretty sentiment that would be wonderful for so many occasions! I've paired this with the cute vase and florals from another new stamp set/dies, Flower Power, from Lexi Daly. Introducing......Envelope Envy!!

Envelope Envy has the stamps, dies, stencils, and papers to help make your envelopes beautiful! In fact, your cards might start to get jealous! Envelope Envy Happy Mail stamp set contains 15 images to adorn your envelopes. The large flower border will look beautiful on the envelope flap, or stamped over the address line image. No more crooked addressing with that three-line image. Add heartfelt sentiments anywhere on your envelope with the 6 sentiments. The largest sentiment also fits perfectly with the address line image, so your recipient knows how special they truly are! Line your envelopes with the envelope liner die and the exclusive 4x6 paper pad. This paper pad has been specially designed to be lighter weight, so as to not add bulk to your envelope. You will wish you could see the smiles when the envelope is opened to reveal the liner patterns of happy words, polka dots, a large heart, or even a large hello. Along with the liner die, 6 other dies are included. Use these dies to add custom seals to your envelopes, custom faux postage, or even cut out your own address labels. Take your envelope flap to another level with new stencils designed specifically for embossing. Each of the 7 stencils will leave a beautiful finish on your envelope flap. The mix and match possibilities of this kit are endless! Enjoy creating envelopes that will be the envy of all mail!

This kit is available exclusively from Papertrey Ink beginning tonight at 10pm ET. You can check out all of the details of the kit on their blog HERE."

What’s not to love about Kimberly Crawford’s newest kit 'Envelope Envy'? Included are many of my very favorite things: stripes, florals, polka dots and a beautiful array of lovely colors, not to mention the amazing coordinating stencils, stamps and dies ! Once you have this kit in your hands you will surely feel the need to embellish each and every envelope as you share your inspired creations. And……..not just a bit of beauty to enhance your envelopes, but perfect for card and tag making as well! Oh SO pretty!

Lots of beautiful colors in this kit - Terracotta Tile, Honey Nut, Stormy Sea, Tropical Teal and Pinefeather. Oh.... and some lovely, bright, shiny gold (and white!) adhesive backed papers too!!

Here is a little Stormy Sea ensemble..... and the pretty florals are highlighted with a bit of glitter dotting the flower centers. Another plus? The fabulous stencils look amazing both as embossed AND debossed images!

Please be sure to take a peek at the beautiful projects from Kimberly, Melissa, Laurie, Lizzie and Keeway TOO! You are bound to be inspired by Kimberly's thoughtfully created Envelope Envy Kit (and may be feeling  the need to pretty up each and every one of your envelopes)!!
